Gail Garcia
Gail Garcia is a native New Yorker whose work is deeply informed by the authenticity, rhythm, and unvarnished beauty of urban life. Drawing inspiration from the streets, neighborhoods, and fleeting moments that define the city experience, she creates paintings that capture the energy, emotion, and character of everyday existence. Her work reflects a distinctly urban sensibility, inviting viewers to connect through recognition and shred experience. Whether through a familiar gesture, atmosphere, or narrative, Garcia's paintings evoke the feeling of seeing something intimately known yet newly observed.
After earning her degree from the School of Visual Arts, Gail built a distinguished career in Communication Arts as a designer and art director. Her design work received numerous awards and was widely published, earning recognition for its creativity and excellence.
Throughout her accomplished professional career, Gail remained devoted to her earliest artistic passion: painting. Today, her fine art practice brings together her keen eye for design, narrative sensibility, and lifelong fascination with the human experience, resulting in works that are both visually compelling and emotionally resonant.

Sold at MAD, Barnes Foundation, Barneys, Gumps, Pirch etc. with press features in national and international style, food and interior magazines. Featured artist in “TYPO”, an international design book produced in Barcelona.
