Jung Han Kim
Jung Han Kim’s paintings are spontaneous colorful images depicting everyday life and scenery in San Francisco. His creative use of color and shadowing create a three dimensional scene into which the viewer can enter. His consistent use of very strong color against very pastel color and texture create compositions that are timeless. From figurative to urban city scenes to California landscapes, Kim captures the moment in a fresh combination of representational and impressionistic styles.
Jung Han Kim was educated in Seoul Korea where he earned his Master of Arts. He completed his education at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Jung Han Kim’s primary subjects include landscapes, cityscapes, figures, and the urban landscape. His style is a fresh and unique combination of representational impressionistic and abstract, allowing the viewer to look deeper into the image. He has won numerous awards including The Salon International 2006 Award for the International Museum of Contemporary Masters. His work is exhibited throughout the United States and found in private and corporate collections.
