Claire Brewster
Claire Brewster lives and works in London, but started life in Lincolnshire. She creates beautiful, delicate and intricate paper cuts of flowers, birds and insects. Her inspiration comes from nature and the urban environment in which she lives and a desire to reuse the discarded, unwanted and obsolete. Her delicate work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, showing regularly in London, other parts of the UK, USA and Europe. Major exhibitions include Cut Up Cut Out, Bedford Gallery, Walnut Creek, USA, A Conference of Birds (solo show), Diehl Gallery, Jackson, USA, The First Cut, Manchester Art Gallery, UK, Mind The Map, London Transport Museum, London Uk, Paper Biennale, CODA, Netherlands. Her work has also been published in many magazines and books including The Audubon Society, Fresh Paint Magazine, Elle Decoration, Elle Deco, Vogue, and many more.
